By accessing or using the PatAP Intelligence platform ("Platform") at patap.io, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Platform Purpose & Use Restrictions

2.1 Purpose

The Platform provides AI-powered analytics for biotechnology and pharmaceutical research, including:

• Probability of success (PoS) estimates for clinical trials using Bayesian modeling
• Patent landscape analysis and opportunity identification
• Research insights and patent landscape analysis

2.2 Permitted Use

The Platform is intended solely for:

• Non-commercial research and analysis by qualified professionals
• Educational purposes in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and related fields
• Academic research and scholarly activities

2.3 Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

• Use outputs for medical, clinical, investment, or regulatory decision-making without independent verification
• Redistribute, resell, or commercialize Platform data or analyses
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or replicate Platform algorithms
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

3. No Warranties & No Liability

3.1 Probabilistic Nature

All Platform outputs are AI-generated probabilistic estimates based on historical data and statistical models. These estimates:

• Are subject to uncertainty and error
• May not reflect actual clinical, regulatory, or market outcomes
• Should not be relied upon as definitive predictions

3.2 Public Data Sources

The Platform analyzes data from various sources including patent databases and clinical trial registries. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of source data.

3.3 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

3.4 Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PATAP INTELLIGENCE, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

4. Intellectual Property & Use of Content

4.1 Platform Ownership

PatAP Intelligence retains all rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including algorithms, software, and proprietary analyses.

4.2 User License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for permitted purposes.

4.3 Content Restrictions

Users may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Platform content without express written permission.

5. Feedback Submission Terms

5.1 Voluntary Feedback

Users may voluntarily provide feedback on Platform accuracy, clinical trial outcomes, or suggested improvements.

5.2 License Grant

By submitting feedback, you grant PatAP Intelligence a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback for Platform improvement.

5.3 No Compensation

No compensation will be provided for submitted feedback or suggestions.

6. API Access and Rate Limits

6.1 Rate Limits

API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas based on subscription tier.

6.2 Fair Use

Users must comply with fair use policies and may not engage in excessive or abusive usage patterns.

6.3 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of usage policies.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

User privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications and Termination
